I support Barack Obama because he is a uniting figure within the Democratic Party. I agree with him that there is nothing false about hope, and agree that it is a hard uphill battle that must be fought. He is not a divisive figure that causes conservative Republicans to run the other way and has the ability to reach out and persuade disenfranchised Republicans to come together on issues such as Iraq considering the original philosophy of Republicans has been to not involve our selves in countries abroad.
