This project is the result of the inspiration we all feel from Sen. Obama and the positive campaign he is leading. All of us have been touched in some way and the creative expressions shared by members of this community are amazing.
As a result of the wonderful feedback received to date, it’s time to move into a second phase of Action. Change starts with hope and inspiration, but it needs action to make it a reality. Change doesn’t come about just from our leaders. It’s up to us to act in our individual communities to affect positive change.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on:
1. actions that need to take place in your communities
2. actions that you intend to undertake to make your community better
3. actions that need the help of others
As this project continues to grow, the Action of the Week will become it’s own section, giving all members the ability to post actions and calls for help to make individual communities better. Over time, you’ll be able to measure your results and prove that we really are the ones we’ve been waiting for.

As someone very dear to me often says, "Be the change you seek". "Change" is not just a word, not just a noun but a verb...an action word. Each of us must contribute to making America better by making each other better. We must individually make a commitment to change in order to make the world a better place for all. Barack Obama understands this and this is why he has my vote.
